Incase you haven't heard, Sony still makes phones and in case you haven't heard also, they announced the Sony Xperia Ion during the just concluded CES event in Las Vegas.
You are probably wondering what's the big deal?We all know that Sony Ericsson made the best camera phones (even before iPhone and android), but they were slowly edged out when Nokia launched its N Series range of Carl Zeiss Lenses smartphones, smartphones like the N72, N82. Then Nokia just killed all competition with the N8. More than a year later, the N8 still can't be beat!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you The Sony Xperia Ion, this is a 4.5inch screen, 12MP, 4000x3000px, autofocus, LED flash, Dual Core 1.5gHz android running smartphone.
I'm afraid our beloved N8 has some stiff competition coming, and Nokia better take their time in preparing the N8 successor to perfection.

In conclusion, I still pick the N8 as my winner here, but the introduction of the Xperia Ion only proves N8 wouldnt be king of the Camera phone world for long.
